Making Nominations to ISHOF

You are invited to nominate a candidate for possible induction into the International Snowmobile Hall of Fame.

Nominations, which will be accepted annually until April 1, are requested.  If you would like to nominate and sponsor someone who has earned and deserves this honor, please let us know.  We encourage nominations from various facets of the sport and have established these categories:

- Inventors, designers and manufacturers
- Explorers and adventurers
- Trail and program developers
- Volunteers and club organizers
- Publishers and journalists

Length of service to the sport, involvement on state, provincial, regional, national or international basis and widely recognized contributions are the major criteria used when reviewing nominations that are submitted.

Candidate nomination information will be reviewed by the International Snowmobile Hall of Fame Selection Committee, many of whom are past inductees. Sponsors and candidates who have been selected will be notified by June 1. The induction ceremony will take place the second or third weekend of September in Eagle River, Wisconsin.

Your nomination must include:
- Name of nominee
- Person or organization making and sponsoring nomination
- Photograph of nominee
- Category of nomination
- Resume detailing history of involvement

Other pertinent information such as:
- Letters of recommendation
- Copies of news articles about the nominee
- Examples of special work achievements

Deadline for submission is April 1. Notification of selection is June 1. Induction is in September.
